Atsuhide Ito works with painting, photography and film. His most recent work was a collaboration with the ‘Human Hotel’, Copenhagen, on the project; ‘Dust: Between Matter and the Spectral.’ He is also a writer, his most recent publication; ‘The Promise of Painting: Spectres of the Baroque in contemporary painting’ (2013) in the ‘Journal of Visual Arts Practice.’ Atsu will use egg tempera to explore his interests in; ‘dust, the archival and haunting’ in relation to the almshouses.
